*Please note that if you are submitting a symposium proposal then the title and the abstract are for whole symposium and not for each individual paper contributed to it. The first author will be designated as the symposium organizer/chairperson. Altogether, you can add up to 12 authors for your symposium.
Three independently submitted oral presentation papers will be thematically grouped together and will be given 60 minutes for the whole session (each presentation will last for 15 minutes followed by a 5 minutes discussion lead by the session chair).
Posters will display the presentation materials in visual form printed on a paper smaller than or equal to 90x120 cm2 (3x4 feet2). Posters will also be thematically grouped and presented during the designated poster sessions. Author(s) of each poster will orally communicate their research studies and/or ideas displayed in their posters to the interested audiences and answer any questions that they may have. It is advisable to have A4 or US letter size print outs of posters for distributing to the audience and allowing them to take notes.
A Symposium is a collection of related papers which examine a topic more broadly and deeply from various points of view. A chairperson (the lead person for organizing the symposium) and 1 or 2 discussants are needed for putting together a symposium proposal. Each symposium will contain four individually conducted but closely related studies.
Please note that if you are planning to submit a symposium proposal then the title and the abstract should represent the symposium as a whole and not each individual paper contribution in it. The first author will be designated as the symposium organizer/chairperson. Altogether, you can add up to 12 authors for your symposium.
Workshops are means of providing interactive demonstrations and/or hands-on experiences aimed for training the audience in a special topic. It is expected that workshops participants will gain a firsthand experience on the issue that will allow them to carry out such tasks by themselves. Hence, each workshop can aim, including but not limited to, presenting a technique/method, software/hardware and the like in a way that participants gain sufficient experience to do them individually and independently. Workshop organizers are encouraged to think about and plan the materials about their topics for distributing their audience.
